Thirty (30) lbs weight capacity. Be sure to use the below measuring guidelines, as the weight capacity is for build strength purposes and not dog sizing.
This Pet Carrier is compatible with any model that advertises the Connect+ system. It will connect to the following bike/accessories:
- VORSA (directly to removable rear rack)
- Cafe Cruiser (directly to integrated rear rack)
- Portola (directly to integrated rear rack)
- 700 Series (rear rack with Connect+ logo only)
- Prodigy v2 (directly to included rear rack) *do not exceed the rack’s 40 lb limit*
- Rift (directly to integrated rear rack)
- Revv 1 Connect+ Rear Rack and Handle
- Ride1Up Platform Rack (separate purchase – ONLY fits Portola and VORSA)
- Ride1Up Rear Rack (separate purchase – ONLY fits Core-5, Turris, LMT’D and LMT’D V2)
- Roadster v3 Connect+ Rear Rack (separate purchase)

We have (2) 12.5 lb Chihuahuas; so, it is a little bit tight for the two of them. But, other than that, the carrier has been great and the dogs love going along for the ride.

Well made, attaches securely to cafe cruiser, best used on ST step thru Bikes, hard to lift leg over when mounting bike. I have a 15lb mini poodle and she is too big for it, she could be physically crammed into it but wouldn’t be able to move or sit up. Best for teacup, XS dogs or cats. We tried having her sit in the carrier with the top open using the lanyard to keep her in, but she repeatedly tried to get out and we feared she could hang herself. I kept the pet carrier to repurpose the connect base for my rear storage bag. I find the quick release base is handy for attaching the bag and other things to the bike rack for easy attachment and removal.

I love the pet carrier. I wish that you made a similar one that could connect to a front rack. I have so many other accessories attached to my handlebars, I can’t attach a carrier to the front.
