Thank you for your feedback James. However, we are in very hilly/mountainous areas of San Diego, where this bike excels! Yes, the lower voltage will reduce top speed and performance a bit as the battery gets lower. Yes, rider weight does influence top speed, range and performance as well. We believe it is an amazing, smooth and lightweight bike, but I believe for the things you are looking for, the VORSA would be a better fit. We cannot have the same power and range, with a lightweight ebike as we can with a full-size (weight) ebike like the VORSA. Also, the components are not ‘saving money’ or cheaper. In fact, objectively, they are better than all other lightweight ebike cassette/groupset combinations on the market at this price-point.

I was skeptical about buying a bike on-line, but Ride1Up did it right – the bike was packaged with care and came with very good assembly instructions. And phone support before my purchase was quick and helpful.
