The rim being 1″ and tire being 2″ means tube is always extending over the rim, turn corners too sharply want to bend the larger outer tire over the smaller rim.

I am on my 10th flat tire this year, half of them have been pothole/curb lip punch flats, the other half were thorns and metal punctures, but in my frustration to get some of these flats changed, I have bent up my derailed and fender a bit, thays my fault for but the wight of the bike and impossibility to balance it upside down hasn’t helped.

The rim to tire ratio is bad if you weigh over 200 lbs, or try a quick maneuver that puts any force into the back tire.

The bike also center of gravity pretty high and over the handlebars making quick maneuvers seem a little risky for balance of going over the bars, this hasnt happened to me and it is indicative of cruiser style bikes, but combine that with a rear tire that wants to fold over and it doesn’t make for a great experience if you are avoiding a hazard.

Owned for about a year and riden 400 miles, but it would be double that if not for so many flat tires.

Sizing/Fit Notes:

OK, I am 5'9" and 225lbs

I have taken it on trails, I’ve been on jumps, rode through creeks, and I’ve ridden on the street with it. This bike holds up great on the road and the street, great bike great brand.

Sizing/Fit Notes:

I am 5'10 and I fit well on the XR frame model

But the power is there when you need it. Very solid.

I had to contact FedEx several times and Ride1Up a few times to find out where my bike was. The address on the label wasn’t correct according to fedEx but Ride1Up had the correct address. Also after unboxing I noticed the fenders had scratches on them ,same as my sister’s bike. Needed more packaging.

The ride is so much fun. I have had several issues with the build of the bike. 1. Front light cable was severed and had to order a new light that I had to install after a couple of calls to customer service. 2. The tail brake light does not work. 3. The front brakes calipers do not retract when brake lever is released. This is an issue as I remove the front wheel when transporting the bike and it is difficult to reinstall the front wheel. 4. I received the new front light but its adjustment does not use a hex wrench but a “star” wrench that I needed to buy. 5. The tires were not inflated and would not hold pressure. I found out that the stem valves were not seated and I had to purchase a valve stem tool to tighten properly. A bunch of minor issues but disappointing for a $1300 bike. Is there an authorized warranty bike shop in the Fort. Collins area?

It was fairly easy to put together, and it works great. The pedal assist levels are a bit tame out of the box but once I adjusted the power output for each pedal assist level, I could keep up with my wife’s Lectric Xpress easily. The battery life is as good as advertised. I really like and enjoy the bike!
